Investing: Russian Bonds

I'm not here to give hot tips but one might look at Russian ruble bonds again. They do have high yields and it's not a credit risk. Russia is not going bankrupt whatever happens.

Investing In Russia

I was already bullish and invested in the Russian stock market before Donald Trump was elected. I had been investing there over the last few years. Donald Trump is going to be friendlier with Russia and that is obviously an enormous change and it is likely that you are going to see all major countries removing sanctions. Currencies: Bullish On The Russian Ruble (RUB)

The Russian Ruble (RUB) has hit bottom as far as I am concerned and crude oil is making a complicated bottom. I would rather buy the Russian Ruble (RUB) than just about any currency right now.

Markets: People Will Flee To Safe Havens

There is going to be so much turmoil in the world in the next couple of years, people will flee to what they think it is a safe haven, which happens when there is turmoil. They are not going to buy the Japanese Yen, they are not going to buy the British Pound, they are not going to buy the Russian Ruble. They are going to flee to the U.S. Dollar in this panic.

Forex Markets: "I Am Out Of The Japanese Yen"

I am out of the Japanese Yen, it is not as safe to most people as the U.S. Dollar and they are printing a lot of it! (Japanese Yen, U.S. Dollar, Australian Dollar, Russian Ruble)

Buying Russian Government Bonds

I bought some Russian Government Bonds in Rubles last week. The Ruble collapsed, interest rates are very, very high in Russia right now.

Ruble Collapse: The Central Bank Is Doing The Right Things

Most governments do panic and try to do things that make the situation worse. I am very favorably impressed with the Russian Central Bank. They are letting the market do it, they are not bringing exchange controls, they are doing exactly the right thing.
