People Starting To Invest In Russia Again

We have seen some people starting to invest in Russia again. This is just the continuation of the same process. It is happening, more will happen, but it will not be so fast. (Market Vector Russia ETF Trust (RSX), iShares MSCI Emerging Markets Index ETF (EEM))

Focus On Stocks That Are Not On The ETFs Radars

In a recent interview with MarketWatch, Jim Rogers urges investors to focus on stocks that are not on the exchange traded funds (ETFs) radars:

“If somebody can just take the time to focus on the stocks that are not in the ETFs, there must be fabulous opportunities in those stocks because they’re ignored. Some of them have got to be doing very, very well. And nobody’s buying them, because only the ETFs buy stocks.”

Trump Will Not Start A War With North Korea

I cannot imagine Mr. Trump is going to start a war with North Korea but who knows. He bombed Syria for no reason, he bombed Afghanistan for no reason so who knows what he might do if he gets angry one morning and if he does it, it's going to be very very bad for all of us. GST Is Good For India

I want to emphasize that in the short term GST is going to cost a lot of money and a lot of time for a lot of people because it's such a huge change but in the long term it's one of the best things that's happened in India in a long, long time. I'm delighted, I'm surprised but it's good for India and therefore good for the world. (iShares MSCI Emerging Markets Index ETF (EEM), WisdomTree India Earnings Fund ETF (EPI))

Emerging Markets: GST Is Going To Change India Completely

GST is a miracle! l I am very surprised it went through and it's going to change India completely. It will make it in the long run, it will make it cheaper and more efficient for most businesses. I'm very very surprised! (iShares MSCI Emerging Markets Index ETF (EEM), WisdomTree India Earnings Fund ETF (EPI), Sensex)

Q: Would You Invest Right Now In Europe Or In The US?

I would rather invest in Russia if you consider that Europe, it is an European country. Russia is probably one the better places to invest now. (Market Vector Russia ETF Trust (RSX), iShares MSCI Emerging Markets Index ETF (EEM))

The Sanctions Against Russia Have Helped Russia

In many ways the sanctions against Russia have helped Russia. It has created an agricultural boom, as agriculture is a very strong growth industry right now. It also pushed the Russians together with the Asians and when you go through Moscow or St. Petersburg airport now the Asians are everywhere, (iShares MSCI Emerging Markets Index ETF (EEM), Market Vector Russia ETF Trust (RSX))

US Economy: No Signs Of A Recession Yet

I don't see one at the moment but the problem is they always come when you're not expecting them. I would suspect during this year or next it's going to start somewhere that we're not watching. Whether it's Illinois, a pension plan or Madagascar who knows. It's going to start somewhere and then we'll know. But if you look out the window now, everything's great and that's a dangerous sign. The Worst Market Crash In My Lifetime

In 2008 we had a problem because of debt, the debt in 2008 was nothing compared to what's happening now. In 2008 the Chinese had a lot of money saved for a rainy day. It started raining and they started spending the money.

Now even the Chinese have debt and the debt is so much higher. The Federal Reserve's balance sheet is up over five times since 2008. It will be the worst thing in my lifetime. What's Going To Trigger The Next Market Collapse

It could be an American pension plan that goes broke and many of them are broke as you know, it could be some country we're not watching, it could be all sorts of things. It could be war, unlikely to be war but it's going to be something. (SPDR Dow Jones Industrial Average ETF (DIA), SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (SPY), iShares MSCI Emerging Markets Index ETF (EEM))

Markets: Buying Japanese Stocks

I'm looking at markets in Japan, Russia and China. These markets are all depressed compared to history. I have been buying Japan for a while. (Nikkei 225 Index, Market Vector Russia ETF Trust (RSX), iShares MSCI Emerging Markets Index ETF (EEM), iShares FTSE/Xinhua China 25 Index ETF (FXI))

How I Am Invested In Russia

I have individual shares I have Russian government bonds have yields very, very high you can get 10 percent in rubles and I in my view the ruble has stabilized so it's a lot better than 2 percent in America. (Market Vector Russia ETF Trust (RSX), iShares MSCI Emerging Markets Index ETF (EEM))

India: Large Debts Means Not Being Able To Grow Rapidly

India has a lot of debt, the Indian government doesn't like to talk about them but the debt the GDP ratio is very very high in India and it's getting higher and higher and higher that usually means you cannot grow at a rapid rate. Markets: The Chinese Economy Will Slowdown

The Chinese economy will certainly slow because its customers are slowing. Some parts of the Chinese economy have a lot of debt and that is going to cause problems in China. (iShares FTSE/Xinhua China 25 Index ETF (FXI), iShares MSCI Emerging Markets Index ETF (EEM))

India: Not One Of My Favorite Stock Markets

India is not one of my favorite stock markets (one of the reasons being) it is at an all-time high. I do not like to buy stocks when markets are at an all-time high as I do not want to get on a moving train because when you do that you will get hurt. Markets: There Is Nothing Really Cheap In India

I do not really know about the valuations in the Indian stock market at the present time but I do not know of anything that is really cheap in India. (iShares MSCI Emerging Markets Index ETF (EEM), WisdomTree India Earnings Fund ETF (EPI), Sensex)

The Party In Stocks Will End Soon

The Indian stock market is not the only one going through the roof, look at European stocks and the US indexes. I think the party in stocks will end soon, but I am very, very bad at timing it. Why You Shouldn't Buy India Right Now

The Indian stock market is not cheap. I do not like to buy things that are going straight up, making all time highs. As I have seen many times in my life, when people jump on a moving train, you are probably going to get hurt. (iShares MSCI Emerging Markets Index ETF (EEM))

Indian Stock market: "I Should Have Been More Patient"

I should have been more patient. Mr. Modi told us he was going to get it done, I would have stayed around: "Jim Rogers is repenting he sold India early; but will stocks still deliver?"

Russia Is Still Very, Very Cheap

At the moment you should buy Russia and not buy China. I still own China, I am still bullish but if you are looking for something to buy, Russia is still very cheap. Russia is one of the most hated markets in the world, it is very, very hated as you know.
