What I Am Buying In Russia

I am buying Russian shares, I do buy the ETF and on Monday I bought an agricultural company. I have also been a director of a fertilizer company because I am bullish on agriculture and I am bullish on Russia. Most recent things (I bought) are agriculture in Russia and also some Russian government bonds in Rubles. The Ruble collapsed and interest rates are very, very high in Russia right now.

Investing: What To Do After A Few Losses?

Every time I lose money, I wish I had done it differently. Of course I say, "Why didn`t I do it differently?"

When you have a few bad things in a row, I stop to figure out what is going wrong. You cannot just say because the moon is wrong or the starts are wrong. You have to figure out and that to may be a time when you should do nothing for a while so you can calm down and not get too bogged down in the mistakes that you have made.

This just comes from experience. Be very aware if you had a good streak and be more careful than you normally would and really you should probably restrain yourself and try to do nothing unless you are really, really sure because the hubris, the arrogance which comes from a  good trade or certainly from a lot of good trades wether we like to not we are all human. Probably you should close the window and read a book or something and do nothing for a while.

My Views On Algorithmic Trading

Anything that people can do to make money, they should do. I have nothing against any of it. If throwing darts its your way and it works, then do it! So I do not have any opinions, for or against, on how people make money, on how people invest their money.

There are always new ways to invest, there always have been since the beginning of time and these guys that do algorithmic trading if they know what they are doing, if it works for them, they should do it.
