Gold: This Is Not The End Of The Correction

I am not buying gold right now. Gold has rallied four times over the past 3 years, by around fifteen to twenty percent. I am not adding to gold on this run.

Gold bulls will say that the worst is now over but in my view this is not the end of the correction. (SPDR Gold Trust ETF (GLD), Market Vectors Gold Miners ETF (GDX))

The Central Bankers Are Going To Fail

In the end, the central bankers are going to fail because the market has more money than they do. At some point, the market is going to say, we don’t want any more of your paper.

In the meantime, politicians will say, do not worry, we will save you and there will be some market rallies along the way.

But this time it will be too much, and too late. By 2017 there will be disaster everywhere. (SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (SPY), SPDR Dow Jones Industrial Average ETF (DIA), iShares MSCI Emerging Markets Index ETF (EEM))

Currencies: Fundamentals Are More Important Than Interest rates

Interest rate hikes often have been beneficial at least in the short term but the fundamentals in the end win out. Sometimes you have to raise interest rates 5 or 10 times for it to make any kind of significant difference.

The British Pound (GBP) Is Going To Go Down Wether Britain Exits Or Not

I think the British Pound (GBP) is going to go down wether they exit or not. Britain has gigantic debts, do not have anything to build up the balance of trade. I mean, Great Britain is in trouble. (FTSE index, GBPUSD forex cross, GBPEUR forex cross)

The BOJ Is The Only Buyer Of JGB`s

The central bank of Japan is the only buyer of JGB`s (Japanese government bonds). In America (the Federal Reserve) is not the only buyer but almost the only buyer. Financial markets are paying less and less attention to the central banks actions and its coming a time when the financial markets are going to overwhelm central banks.
