The Stock Market Sell-Off Explained

Stock markets around the world have been going up a lot in the last few years and in the U.S. for instance the stock market has not had a big correction for a long, long time. It's very unnusual what happened in the U.S. stock market, it was overdue for a rout and now we are having one.

India Should Finally Open Up Their Economy

I'm looking for I would expect a three and a half of 4 percent deficit more this year I don't know if they'll announce that they'll probably announce 3 percent because they always make it sound better than it is so the deficits going to get bigger thinks it would make me happy would be opening up the Indian economy finally but they're not gonna do that and they're not gonna listen to me. India: The Debt Will Go Higher

As you know there's an election next year and like every election everywhere in the world throughout history everybody is going to get a little present. The debt will go higher the budget will not be balanced. They may say they're going to balance the budget but it's going to get worse. (WisdomTree India Earnings Fund ETF (EPI))

Gold: I Don't Think It Will Breakout

I don't think it's going to be a breakout year for gold. I still think there will be opportunities in the future to buy gold lower. It's been almost seven years since the high. Sometime in the next year or two I certainly expect for gold to make a low and then to start going higher and higher.

US Treasuries: How China Will Play

If I was in Chinese I would say "No, I'm going to wait until I need to play the card to start selling the US Treasuries." If they need to take an action they won't have any bonds to sell. At least if they own a lot of Treasury bonds they can say to America, "If you do that we're going to sell your bonds."

Everybody Should Be Selling US Treasuries

Everybody should be selling US Treasuries. We had a bull market since 1981, that's 36-37 years. I don't own any long term US Treasuries, everybody should be selling them for economic reasons as well as for any other reason that they might have.
