Commodities: Crude Oil

Crude oil is in the process of making a complicated bottom. We will look back some day and we will say, "In 2015, 2016 or 2017 energy made its bottom and then prices moved higher." (Energy Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLE), United States Oil Fund LP ETF (USO), Nymex Crude Oil futures)

I'm Very Worried About the Global Economy

I am very worried about the global economy in the next few months. First of all it has been 8 years since we had an economic recession in America. Historically we had them every four to seven years. There are many problems in the world economy. Donald Trump has promised a tare war with Mexico, China, Korea, Japan... If he does that, my God, we are going to have serious problems! Investing: Read From Various Sources

Be skeptical. Be skeptical of everything you hear and read. Try to get as many sources of information as you can. Get your information from various countries, various news sources. Then put it all into your brain and you can get it right.

Listening to one source of information, especially in 2017 is a dangerous thing to do!

The Traits of a Great Investor

You have to be skeptical, you have to be curious, you have to be willing to go against the accepted wisdom. You have to think independently and that is very hard to do. Be skeptical of everything you hear or read.

You do not do the opposite of what other investors are doing just to do the opposite. there must be a reason. Figure out what is really happening and you can be very successful in the markets.
