I Am Not Buying Stocks Anywhere In The World

Right now I am not buying stocks anywhere in the World and that includes China. But I own Chinese stocks, I have not sold them. In the next few years the world is probably going to have serious problems and that will affect Chinese companies too. This means that some Chinese companies will probably go bankrupt but at the same time other parts of the Chinese economy are going to boom no matter what happens to the rest of the world. Investing: Some Sectors With A Magnificent Future

Some things that I see in the future that are great?

- I am bullish on Agriculture.

- China is a very polluted nation. Anybody that can clean up China is going to make a fortune.

- Asian Tourism has a huge future because there are so many Asians now that are able to travel.

Those are some of the industries of the world that have a magnificent future.

Emerging Markets: Some Are Great, Some Are A Disaster

There is no such thing as emerging economies. There are some great ones, some mediocre ones and some disaster ones, so do not put them all together.

I am optimistic about things like Kazakhstan now, Nigeria, I am looking at Iran and I am wildly bullish on North Korea. I am bullish on China but I am not buying China. China is going to be  the next great country in the world. ( iShares MSCI Emerging Markets Index ETF (EEM), iShares FTSE/Xinhua China 25 Index ETF (FXI))

China: I Am Bullish About These Sectors

Some Chinese companies that deal with the West are going to go bankrupt if they have debt, there is no question about that. Some parts of the Chinese economy, if you are in pollution clean up, you do not even care if America disappears as you are so busy making money.

If you are in healthcare in China, China needs enormous healthcare and Beijing knows that.

Agriculture, I am extremely optimistic about agriculture in China.

Extremely Optimistic About The Future Of China

I am extremely optimistic about the future of China. China will be the most important country in the 21st Century. There will be problems in China along the way. Everybody who rises has problems. I do not hear about a major crisis in China. China is in better shape than most countries these days. That does not mean China is not going to have problems. (iShares FTSE/Xinhua China 25 Index ETF (FXI), iShares MSCI Emerging Markets Index ETF (EEM))

China No Longer Able To Fuel World Growth Like It Did In 2008 Economic Crisis

China will not be able to help us much this time as it did last time. Who is going to do the heavy lifting? Be worried and be prepared. There is nobody left.

Central banks are going to print as much as they can, the governments in the U.S. and other places are going to spend as much as they can but eventually the market is going to say, "We do not want your garbage anymore. You are printing all this paper money, you are putting out all these bonds. No. We are not going to take it anymore."

Bankruptcies in China Will Scare A Lot Of People

There is no question that there is now debt in China. In 2008 whn the world had a problem, China could help bail us out because they had gigantic money saved for a rainy day and they spent some of that money. America spent a lot of money but we did not have any money saved up, we just printed it and borrowed it. Yes, there is a difference in the world between 2016 and 2008, is that China does have debt now but nothing like America, Britain or Portugal or some other countries in the world.

You are going to have bankrupcies in China, at least I hope we are going to have bankruptcies in Chin, I hope that the Government lets them go bankrupt and that is going to scare a lot of people and de disruptive. China Is My Largest Long Position

China is my largest long position. My largest positions are airlines and tourism in China and the collapse in the price of oil has been good for airlines all over the world. Tourism is booming in Asia, pollution control. I have been in Beijing 3 times in the last month and it is filthy, it is horrible! Somebody is going to make a lot of money cleaning up China.

China: There Is No Bubble

No, no. There is not a bubble in China. Some stocks got overpriced, got expensive too fast but it is not a bubble. I have seen bubbles around the world. This was not a bubble, it was an overpriced market but it was not a bubble.

My Children Will Own My Chinese Shares

I hope my children own my Chinese shares. If I had sold American shares in 1915 I might have looked smart for 2 or 3 years. But over the next 80 years I would have looked pretty foolish.

China is the next great country in the world, so in the case of China, I want my children to have the shares. Some of the shares will probably fail but overall it is going to be a great, great, great success. So my children some day will say, he must had been smart.
